IMPORTANT! There are two versions of the Hilux centre console please select the correct one from the drop-down as they have different mounting methods. 'SWITCH CONSOLE' has two switch blanks at the front of the centre console with no dividers in the main front compartment. 'DIVIDER CONSOLE' this console does not have any switches but has dividers in the main compartment. Please also check the photo that shows the difference between these two consoles. Aside from the mounting mechanism, the cup holders are identical.
6th Gen Toyota Hilux Cup Holders (1997-2004)
The Hilux may be unbreakable but sometimes their bloody cup holders are unbearable. These are our new cup holders to suit the tall consoles of the 6th gen Toyota Hilux (1997-2004). They insert directly into your factory console providing two large cup holders with a handy compartment at the front which is great for your phone, pens or a Snickers. They do not obstruct the large storage pocket at the back.
Our cup holders are 3D printed from a high-strength PETG that is UV and heat-resistant. As the cup holders are 3d printed the colour is not a perfect match due to different materials and surface finishes. However, it is about as close as you can get to looking perfect.
Cup holder diameter: 81mm
Installation: Each cup holder requires you to join the lower section to the upper by sliding the two together; this may require some gentle tapping as it should be a snug fit. Once the two are together, If you have the console with the switch inserts you will need to remove them by gently prying up on the edges ideally with something plastic. Before you get too excited and push the cup holders into place, STOP, go get a cloth and clean the console, especially where the velcro will be sticking to. Speaking of velcro we have added it for some extra peace of mind as the cup holders don’t necessarily need it, it just helps make the cup holders more difficult to be pulled up. Now that we are past that remove the plastic from each of the velcro pieces leaving them attached to the cup holders and press the cup holders down into place. They should align correctly however the ones with the switch inserts may need a little more force to push them down. Finally, don't try to pull up the cup holders immediately! The adhesive on the velcro needs at least a few hours to correctly adhere to the console if you pull it up too soon the velcro will come with it.
