5th Gen Toyota Hilux Cup Holders 1988-1997
The Hilux may be unbreakable but not having any cup holders is unbearable. These are our cup holders for the 5th Gen Toyota Hilux (1988-1997) short console. This cup holder is designed to replace the factory tray at the front of your console providing a reliable way of keeping your drinks upright. We have two options for this console. If you like sipping on boxed iced coffee or enjoy a large travel mug our Big One will work great for you. It provides a large holder at the front for a boxed drink or large travel mug and a smaller spot at the back for a can or bottle. Our standard version is great if you like your drinks more of a normal size and shape, with room for cans with coolers or maccas cups.
Our cup holders are 3D printed from a high-strength PETG that is UV and heat-resistant. The colour for these cup holder has not been matched as we are using the same gray as our other Toyota products. It is quite close showing more on the grey blue side with a bit less brown than factory.

Installation: For this installation, you will need to first remove your centre console, this can be done by first removing the 3 screws holding the console into the gear surround. Once that is done remove the 4 bolts inside the console. Now that the console is free, flip it upside down and remove the 3 screws from around the front compartment, careful not to lose them as they will be required to install your new cup holders. Push the compartment from the bottom it might need a little tap to remove as it could be stuck in from a few decades of grime build up. Now that this is out, for the best results give the console a good clean, it will help the cup holder fit flush. The cup holders are a tight fit so you may need to use a bit of force to push them down into position. Once they are in screw them down with the 3 screws you removed from the factory storage compartment and fit the console back into the car.
